Add an additional  ball stud for the engine hood strut, to support the hood in a fully open position, when maintenance work is being done.

Very easy installation, just replace one of the left fender mounting screws, with this 10mm ball stud and its M8 stainless steel lock nut, as an auxiliary position for the hood strut.

1. Identify a suitable mounting screw on the inner left fender area.
2. Remove the existing screw.
3. Replace it with the new M8 ball stud and secure it with the lock nut.
4. Unclip your existing hood strut from its lower mount and clip it onto the new auxiliary ball stud to place the hood in the high-access service position.
